In contrast to fixed installations like caves the mobile VR setup ‘Mobi’ provides a presentation and work environment that can be easily transported and set up nearly everywhere. It adapts to different types of use and allows for an interactive visualization of data.

Thanks to an integrated tracking system this setup does not need laborious calibration before it can be used. It is based on a 67’’ DLP-display and the modular software components developed at the i4Ds. All the necessary VR hardware is housed inside the rolling display stand which offers two different positions for the placement of the screen. One position is higher up for presentations when standing and one on the correct height for use when seated.
